Projects

Project 1: Three LED Wave

Blink three LEDs one after the other. The LEDs are controlled by the writing to digital output pins

Project 2: LED Dimming (PWM)

Three LEDs are made to gently pulse  using Pulse Width Modulation (PWM)

Project 3: Sound/Noise Detection

Sound detection with the sound module. The Arduino detects the output of the sound module which is triggered when a set point is crossed and turns on an LED

Project 4: Motion Sensing with PIR

The passive infrared sensor (PIR) is used to detect motion using body heat. When motion is detected, an LED is turned on

Project 5: Distance measurement with Ultrasonic Sensor 

Ultrasonic sound is used to measure the distance from the sensor. Sound is bounced off objects in the sensor's view and the time it takes to reflect back is used by the sensor to calculate the distance. The Arduino measures a pulse length and displays it as a corresponding distance on the Arduino IDE serial monitor

Project 6: Day/Night Detector with LDR

The Light Dependent Resistor (LDR) is used to detect light intensity when a set point is crossed, the LED turns on

Project 7: Servo Motor Control (SG-90)

A servo motor is made to move precisely. Servo motors are often used for robotic control where precise movement is necessary

Project 8: LCD Display : display text, numbers & symbols)

The LCD display is controlled with simple commands and made to display simple text

Project 9: Weather Station (DHT11 + LCD)

The readings from DHT11 temperature and humidity sensor are displayed on the LCD in real time. 

Project 10: Melody Player

Play Pirates of the Carribean theme melody using a buzzer

Project 11: Stepper Motor Control

A stepper motor is driven via a ULN2003A driver module. The stepper motor moves in precise step defined by the Arduino code

Project 12: Joystick Servo Motor Control

Control an SG-90 servo motor using a Joystick analogue output. 


Project 13: Water Level Detection

Detect water level using the water level sensor and trigger an action when a limit is crossed (LED + Relay in this project)

Project 14: Infrared Remote Control (Decoding)

Decode commands from an IR remote control and display them on the serial terminal of the Arduino IDE

Project 15: Infrared Remote Controlled RGB LED

Building on the previous project, this one lets you control the colour of an RGB LED by pressing buttons on the IR remote control

Project 16: ADC Battery Voltage Measurement

Measure the voltage of a battery, sensor or any voltage source and display the readings on the LCD

Project 17: 4x4 Matrix Keypad Access Control

Control access with PIN by using the 4x4 matrix keypad to authenticate users by PIN number

Project 18:  DS1302 Real Time Clock + LCD

Display "Real" time on the LCD. The RTC will keep accurate time even if power is removed from the Arduino

Project 19: RFID Access Control

Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) tags are read by the RC552 RFID reader/writer and used to control a servo motor. The servo motor could be attached to a small door or locking mechanism. Tag registration is also demonstrated.

Project 20: 8x8 Dot Matrix Display

An 8x8 Dot matrix display is used to display a smiley and sad face. Either two modes can be selected with a push button.
