Nerdshed was founded in 2016 by a passionate Nigerian electronics enthusiast from Lagos, driven by a deep love for technology, innovation, and hands-on learning. With a bachelor's degree in electrical and electronic engineering, our founder has always been committed to pushing the boundaries of electronics and embedded systems.

During university, he completed a capstone project on the design and implementation of an all-terrain surveillance system, showcasing his skills in hardware and software integration. His dedication to fostering tech education led him to organize the first-ever Raspberry Pi Jam event in Convenant University, as well as the country’s first university hackathon, inspiring a new wave of makers and innovators.

Now working as an embedded systems engineer, he continues to bring his expertise to Nerdshed, ensuring that every product we offer is carefully selected, tested, and suitable for both beginners and professionals.
