Sharp’s GP2Y1010AU0F optical air quality sensor detects dust, smoke and other fine particles in the air. The sensor uses Infrared emitting diodes and a phototransistor.
The particle is especially useful in building air purifying systems and air quality detectors.
It can also be used to detect cigarette smoke or fires. Sharp GP2Y1010AU0F is often used to detect and publish air quality in IoT systems.
