Infrared Night Vision For Raspberry Pi Camera Module – 3W LED

     4,500

    Description:
This is a 3W high-power 850 infrared light, adjustable resistance. Comes with an onboard adjustable resistor, for controlling the ambient light threshold of toggling the infrared LED. It allows adding night vision function to RPi cameras. You can use a small screwdriver to gently twist the variable resistor and adjust the ambient brightness to your preference. This infrared LED is a perfect addition for projects that require night vision.

The LED light board and the camera PCB bottom plate can be screwed together to use (no software control is required. The working mode of the light board is that when the light is dark, the LED light is automatically turned on, and when the light is strong, the LED light is automatically turned off. The adjustable resistance on the light board needs to be adjusted. Our default delivery is not adjusted. Because different user uses the infrared LED at different locations, it will automatically turn on when it is connected by default. If no adjustment is made, the LED light will always be turned on. Bear in mind that since it is always turned on, it heats up pretty easily. It is recommended to stick a heatsink at the back of the infrared LED, on the cooling area (gold plate).

    How to use:

    • Connect the Infrared LED Board to the camera PCB with screws.
    • The screw holes are used for both attachment and power supply.
    • Adjust the adjustable resistor to set a proper ambient light threshold, which toggles the infrared LED automatically.
    • When ambient light is lower than the threshold value, the infrared LED is on, vice versa.

Note: The 3W high-power infrared LED might cause the Pi to increase heating, heatsinks are suggested. The ideal imaging distance is within 3 meters. When the distance goes up to 6 meters, the night vision camera can just capture blurry outlines.

This 3W Infrared LED for RPi NoIR Camera Module is compatible with:

    • Fish Eye Lens Raspberry Pi 5MP IR Camera

Raspberry Pi NoIR V2 Camera 8MP Night Vision Camera Module

     42,500

    Introduction:

The official infrared camera module v2 (Pi NoIR) has a IMX219 8-megapixel sensor (better than the 5-megapixel OmniVision OV5647 sensor).

The Pi NoIR gives you everything the regular Camera Module offers, with one difference: it does not employ an infrared filter. (NoIR = No Infrared.) This means that pictures you take by daylight will look decidedly curious, but it gives you the ability to see in the dark with infrared lighting.

We bundle a little square of blue gel with the Pi NoIR, which you can use with the camera to monitor the health of green plants. The Pi NoIR is very popular among wildlife hobbyists: with a few infrared LEDs, you can monitor what nocturnal animals are doing in your garden without disturbing them.

The camera works with all models of Raspberry Pi 0 ,1, 2, 3 and 4. It can be accessed through the MMAL and V4L APIs, and there are numerous third-party libraries built for it, including the Picamera Python library. See the Getting Started with Picamera resource to learn how to use it.

Note , when use for Pi Zero , you need to prepare the special camera cable for Pi zero

    Specifications:

    1. Name : Original Official Raspberry Pi Infrared Camera V2
